Wilmette Fine Arts Commission, Illinois

The Wilmette Fine Arts Commission was created in 1995 to promote an appreciation of the fine arts in the community.  During the past decade, the Commission has sponsored Young Artists’ Concerts, visual arts exhibits, Fine Arts Recognition awards, as well as other programs, and assembles a Calendar of Events for Arts Awareness Month each October.  This is the second year the Commission has presented a three concert series at the Wilmette Community Recreation Center. 


Peter has been serving as a member of the Wilmette Fine Arts Commission since 2007.

Craftsbury Chamber Players (CCP) Summer Youth Program, Vermont

Mary Lou Rylands is a founding member of the Craftsbury Chamber Players.  She is a Professor Emeritus of the University of Connecticut where she taught cello and chamber music.  She is the founder and Director of the CCP Youth Chamber Program.


This program is designed to teach the art of playing together, one on a part.  The participant students are advanced enough to prepare his or her individual part and mature enough to be coached in a group settings.  The course is organized for a five day period.  Each group will receive instruction and rehearse on a daily basis with a final concert on the last day of the program.


Peter has been serving as a resident luthier of the CCP Summer Youth Program since 2002.

The Abilene Summer Music Festival Orchestra Camp, Texas

The Abilene Summer Music Festival Orchestra Camp is dedicated to enriching the quality of life in West Texas by providing orchestra and chamber concerts of great music, and providing educational opportunities for young musicians through advanced instruction in a supportive environment.

Peter has been serving as a resident luthier of the ASMF Orchestra Camp since 2007.
